Greg Clarke received his BA in Fine Arts from UCLA. He then worked in a studio specializing in movie posters. After pitching his unsolicited ideas they made him an art director. His work has a very strong design composition and typography often plays a strong role in the final message. He created L Homme Wiggly as a poster and it has become sort of a personal logo. Greg approaches most jobs with the notion that a strong concept trumps considerations of style and medium, striving to instill a certain degree of wit into everything he does. He lives outside of Los Angeles with his wife and kids.
Vintage Point originally commissioned Greg Clarke in 2006. Some of the cartoons were developed from stories of the wine trade from the company’s employees. Others were from Greg’s own experiences & imagination. We are proud to feature them as part of our identity, because Greg’s passion for his work is much like that of the families and winemakers in our portfolio. And, he has the same sense of humor. Enjoy!
